A case of yellow atrophy of the liver

Abstract
|
|
|
1) A case of subacute yellow atrophy of the liver associated with bile peritonitis is presented.
2) On the examination, tenderness, rigidity of the abdomen and high fever were present, and so an exploratory laparatomy was performed by the surgical Dept. and at the same time the liver biopsy was done and the diagnosis was confirmed as subacute yellow atrophy of the liver.
3) After 3 days from the exploratory laparatomy, patient expired.
